Today marks another year of my incredible journey, and I couldn’t be more proud of all that I have overcame and achieved. 💫 I have survived, I have thrived, and I am still standing strong—perhaps stronger than ever. A few weeks ago I ended a relationship that was based on lies. I ended a relationship with someone who I believed I would spend the rest of my life spending birthdays with, and Choosing myself was such a hard thing to do, but I’m grateful for my village for loving me through the pain of that loss ❤️
The last 35 years have been filled with moments of joy, struggle, growth, and everything in between ‼️I have faced challenges that once seemed impossible, yet here I am, shining brighter than ever. I am told my resilience is awe-inspiring, and every step I take is a testament to my courage and perseverance.
This milestone isn’t just about looking back at all I’ve been through but also celebrating the person I have become and I am BECOMING. 💯My strength, wisdom, and heart will continue to lead me forward, lighting the path not just for myself, but for those I choose to have around me. 🤞🏾
As I move into this next chapter, I must remember that I’ve proven to myself time and time again that I can handle whatever life throws my way, with the unwavering love from my family and friends. Let this year be a reminder that my story is still being written, and the best is yet to come.
I am going to keep shining, keep growing, and above all, keep being unapologetically myself. I am loved, cherished, and so deserving of every good thing that comes my way.
